Skin Care DIY: After Wax Oil

Every since I started esthetic school, since my first wax class, I have waxed myself from home...all areas, that was a fun learning experience ;)

Not always my first choice I'll admit but it is efficient and such a money saver. After 14 years my technique is pretty flawless, but I still like to put a little something, something on afterwards to take away any sticky residue and sooth the recently plucked skin. Here's what I do:

Ingredients:

  • Fractionated Coconut Oil
  • St.John's Wort Oil
  • Calendula Oil
  • Comfrey Oil
  • Lavender Essential Oil
  • Benzoin Essential Oil
  • Immortelle Essential Oil
  • Marjoram Essential Oil

Directions:

  1. Pour 215ml of FCO into a glass dish
  2. Add in 5ml of SJW
  3. Add in 12ml Calendula
  4. Add in 12ml Comfrey
  5. Add in 2ml of Immortelle essential oil
  6. Add in 2ml of Benzoin essential oil
  7. Add in 1ml of Lavender Essential Oil
  8. Add in 1ml Marjoram Essential Oil
  9. Mix oils until thoroughly combined
  10. Pour into a glass bottle with pump and use topically as desired

If you prefer the scent of Lavender you can always use 2ml lavender and 1ml immortelle essential oil :)
